A city so nice they named it twice, The Windy City.
I’ve been on some kind of blogger boycott since I got back from Chicago because I refuse to accept that the trip and Christmas is over already. Makes you wonder if it’s all worth it for one day, all the crazy Christmas shoppers are gone into hibernation now until next year. Personally, my favourite part about it all is the build up and in this case the holiday.
The first official Monday morning back into January and a full weeks work lays ahead, the holiday and January blues are officially in full swing. I’m so sad that our trip is over, but so happy that we got to spend Christmas in Chicago. If you’ve never been, I’d definitely recommend you book a flight immediately. Ok maybe not immediately, but I would definitely put Chicago on your bucket list.
I’m feeling very humble and grateful to have spent the last few days of such a great year, in such a great City. Chicago was the icing on the cake for what ended up being a really memorable year for us. Before I start rambling on about 2014 and the expectations and goals of 2015 (that’s a whole separate blog post altogether), I feel Chicago deserves a post in it’s own right.
