My blog has, unfortunately, become less of a priority in my life over the past few months. 🙁 I’ve spoken about this numerous times and can’t help but reiterate that since I’ve moved back I’ve somehow lost my passion for blogging. Partially because I’m struggling to find a balance between work, life, family and last on the list – blogging. There definitely hasn’t been a lack of adventure or travel in my life that’s for sure. In 2015, I spent the first half of the year still living in Toronto and travelling to the USA – New York, California, Las Vegas, etc and the second half of the year we moved back to Dublin and we managed to nip over to Malaga, Seville, Paris and London. But in between the travels, I was either working or spending time with my family. It bothers me that it’s now inconsistent. When I lived abroad I blogged once a week, now it’s once a month at a push?
Like most, I work a full-time job 8-6 and commute approx. 45 mins each way. Some days I work late or take an exercise class meaning I get home with enough time to eat, shower and go to bed. That means my Monday – Friday are pretty much taken up with work, (attempted) exercise routines and sleep. Which brings me to the weekend – whoever said 2 days was enough? Saturday and Sunday are usually spent with Gary, juggling between my 5 siblings (1 lives in the UK), 13 of my nieces/nephews (2 in the UK) and my friends. I just don’t seem to know when to make time to sit down and blog. Sometimes it comes nicely and freely with no effort at all. I feel inspired and the words just flow.
