Week 2 started off on an extremely positive note, I was feeling fresh and ready for the week ahead.
When I focus and get my head in the game, I’m unstoppable and thats a really important thing for me to realise. If you, like me, tend to be an emotional eater you may find yourself eating when you’re not even hungry. Story of my life it seems! We find ourselves turning to food in times of stress, anxiety, boredom? The list of reasons why you may find yourself grabbing the most sugary thing you can get your hands on is endless. Everyone has different trigger points that lead us to comfort foods and mindless eating which more times than not result in a feeling of guilt. Ever eat the whole bag of crisps and think oh shit?lol don’t worry you’re not the only one!
Emotional eating can lead to much worse eating behaviours and habits so its important to be able to identify when you need help or accept that you may possibly be in denial. Treating food as a quick fix to hide feelings and emotions means you aren’t dealing with things properly and you’re not in control of neither your mind or your body.
