Hello, I’m Jools and welcome to my journey!
I’m a born and bread Irish girl who moved to Toronto with my fiancé Gary on an adventure in July 2013. We went together on a two year working visa and so I started my blog on 11/11/13 as a way to document my new life and memories, for both me and my family. But, as you can see it’s turned out to become so much more than that. This little blog has turned into one of my biggest passions – I love sharing my journey with all of you along the way. Moving country, setting up a new life and settling in has been the biggest and most challenging part of our life to date.
Since a young age I’ve been fortunate enough to travel a lot through-out Europe, while also spending summers in our holiday home in Malaga, Spain. My love for travel in the USA and North America has grown hugely over the past few months and my wanderlust is at an all time high. My bucket list seems to always get longer and I’m hungry for seeing as much of the world as I can!
I’ve done most of my studies in Fashion Buying, Merchandising, Styling and Costume Design. While I work in fashion, I also have a strong creative side for all things craft, sewing, quilting, photography, scrapbooking and any homemade DIY’s I can just about try. My blog is not only the home to all the memories I’ve made living in Canada and travelling but it’s also my emotional and creative outlet.
June 2015 we made the difficult decision to leave Toronto and make the move back home to Dublin to see what the next chapter for us holds. It’s exciting times ahead as I start a new job in international corporate retail, travel Europe and continue our day-to-day life adventures! I’ve decided to keep my blog going and continue sharing my journey with you all, as I don’t plan on losing one of my favourite hobbies now that I’m home. As I’ve mentioned before, I’ve every intention of ticking my bucket list off one by one and I’m very thankful to have you all along the way with me.

I’d love for you to follow me as I jot my journey throughout my life, finding my way around the world with my fiancé and camera in tow!
